"This album isn't like anything you've heard before." -Stereogum
Amnon Freidlin — whose work has been described as "dizzyingly brilliant" by Rough Trade — occupies an elastic, raw realm of production, composition, and (sound) design. Brooklyn-based, he goes stag as Honnda, works on video and audio in Mouthguard88, plays guitar in chamber-no wave ensemble Normal Love, and is a former member of psychedelic post-industrial unit Zs. Freidlin has premiered work at the Bang on a Can Marathon, performed at the Primavera Club Festival in Spain, and has received the ACF Subito and Meet the Composer Creative Connections grants. He has shared stages with Sightings, J-Cush (Future Brown), Oneida, Tim Berne’s Bloodcount, The Sun Ra Arkestra, UNIIQU3, and Matmos. On September 21, he released Diamonds in the Microwave with contributions from Dai Burger and video artist Will Rahilly, on Orange Milk (US)/Attracted Vinyl (UK). In November, he scored Nick Cave's installation for Barneys New York.
